Candace Cameron Bure events nearly sold out at Baker Book House

"Response to the announcement of Candace's visit was huge," said Sue Smith, manager of Baker Book House. "It was so big that we scheduled several additional events."
Bure was originally scheduled for a Q&A/book-signing on Thursday, April 26. The 250 tickets sold out within four hours, according to Smith, with more than a thousand people indicating on bookstore social media their interest in attending.
Smith and her colleagues contacted Bure's publisher, Grand Rapids-based Zondervan, to see about adding events to her schedule.
Now hundreds more tickets—which cost $20 and include a free copy of her new book—are available for a book signing only on Wednesday, April 25. Another 100 were available for a signing only at 9 pm on April 26, but those are already sold out.
Those who purchase tickets will receive a number and be asked to get in line according to number groups. Bure will sign one book per person.
"We're thrilled that so many people are interested in Candace and 'Kind is the New Classy,'" said Smith. "It's exciting to see an author with Candace's popular draw so much attention."
Those interested in attending can purchase tickets via the bookstore website, www.bakerbookstore.com. For those unable to get tickets, her book is available for sale at the bookstore and online.
