*Point of Grace – The inspirational vocal trio performs at 7 p.m. Sat. Aug. 4 at Maranatha Bible Conference, 4759 Lake Harbor Rd. Muskegon. The veteran singers have sold millions of albums over the last quarter century, including one featuring 24 songs all of which reached No. 1 on Christian radio charts. *Unity Christian Music Festival – A stellar roster of headline artists (Crowder, MercyMe, Casting Crowns, For King & Country) are featured at this year's festival Aug. 8-11 at Heritage Landing in downtown Muskegon. There are dozens of other artists on two stages on the Heritage grounds. Wed. Aug. 8 is a free-day, with gates opening at 1pm. Other days gates open at 4pm. Amenities Thur. – Sat. include youth lounge, exhibits and concessions. Advance prices: One-day pass $37.50, two-day $55, three-day $75 (higher at the gate). *"Classic" Christian concert – Two of the pioneers of Christian contemporary music – with roots in the early "Jesus Music" of the 1970s - perform at 2pm Sun. Aug. 12 in an outdoor setting at Easton United Methodist Church, 4970 Potters Rd. in Ionia. Matthew Ward was part of the groundbreaking sibling trio Second Chapter of Acts and also is an accomplished solo artist. Singer-songwriter Paul Clark's first album came in 1971 and he has remained a recording and performing artist throughout the decades.
