*Wendell Kimbrough – The Christian singer-songwriter headlines the "Psalms We Sing Together" tour at 6:30 Wed. Nov. 9 at Covenant Life Church, 101 Columbus Ave. Grand Haven. Kimbrough is worship arts director and artist-in-residence at Church of the Apostles in Fairhope, Ala. This psalm and hymn sing also features musicians from various Lakeshore area churches. *Chris August and Jonny Diaz – The Christian music singer-songwriters perform at 8 p.m. Fri. Nov. 18 at Cornerstone Church, 1675 84th St. SE Caledonia. August's signature song is the devotional ballad "Starry Night" which helped him achieve Dove Awards as New Artist and Male Vocalist of the year in 2011. His latest album is "The Maker." Diaz his best known for his tune "More Beautiful You," which topped Christian radio charts. The tour is sponsored by World Hope Ministries International. *Dave Boyer and the Big Band of Praise (B-BOP) – The singer and the local brass ensemble combine for a concert at 5:30 p.m. Sun. Nov. 20 at Jenison Bible Church, 6360 14th Ave. Hudsonville. Boyer is a former night club singer – a contemporary of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin – whose 1960s conversion led him to sing faith-based music, much of it in a big-band style. Sample his testimonial song "Come On Home" online. The Big Band of Praise is an 18-piece group directed by Jonathon DeCou, worship pastor at Jenison Bible.
