New Music Review: “Y.W.N.T.M.D.”

The beats and lyrics come fast and furious in the tune, which repeats the theme represented by the title letters: "You Will Never Turn Me Down."
This is not about getting turned down for a job or a favor. Rather, it's about refusing to turn the volume down on sharing God's biblical truth.
One of several clever phrasings describing the message of the good news: "a tonic for the catatonic."
A special guest on the song is Steve Malcolm, a fellow artist on Beacon's Infinity Music Group label.
The tune shows promise for the rest of the new album, one he co-produced with Tommee Profitt, the local songwriter-artist-producer who has worked with several national artists.
"Beacon is the real deal...one of the most genuine and passion artists I've worked with," said Profitt.
Other guests on the CD include Grand Rapids-based talent George Moss and Chase Stancle, a singer and lead pastor of the new Unison Christian Church in Wyoming.
Note: Beacon Light will be performing some of his new songs at a special CD release concert at 7 p.m. Sat. April 24 at Frontline Community Church, 4411 Plainfield Ave. NE.
Also on the bill are George Moss and Steve Malcolm, with special performances by B-Coe and Momentum.
