Samaritas Launches In-house Rehab Campus

Written by Paul R. Kopenkoskey on . Posted in Local

samSamaritas, formerly Lutheran Social Services of Michigan, has partnered with Link Home Therapy (LHT) to launch an in-house rehabilitation senior living campus at 2000 32nd St. in Grand Rapids. LMT will manage the onsite clinic. Now, assisted living and memory care residents can get their rehabilitation services without leaving the Samaritas senior living Grand Rapids campus. The intent is to help residents retain their health and promote a more active lifestyle.

Samaritas partnered with Link earlier this year to explore modern in-house therapy services to enhance the experience of its residents. Link Home Therapy provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy in the home setting. They focus on helping seniors maintain their strength and mobility to maximize independence and wellness.

For 87 years, Samaritas has served others as an expression of Christ's love with programs to help Michigan's disadvantaged thrive. Samaritas is the state's largest foster care and adoption organization with a full suite of family preservation programs and options like Substance Use Disorder services, refugee services, as well as senior care and living communities with a full continuum of services including independent and assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing options within a faith-based family community.
