*Jonathan Tuuk – The renowned area organist performs at 12:15pm Wed. July 14 as part of an organ recital series at Pillar Church, 57 E. 10th St. in downtown Holland. Tuuk is a former organ instructor at Calvin University and a retired church director of music and organist. He has performed throughout Europe and also at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and has produced several recordings. Pillar Church is hosting a summer series of half-hour recitals featuring a different organist each Wednesday through Aug. 4. Free admission, free parking. *Mark Trammell Quartet – The Southern gospel quartet performs at 7pm Sat. July 17 at the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds, 12253 Lakeshore Dr. south of Grand Haven. Trammell has been performing for 40+ years, singing with famed groups such as the Cathedrals, Greater Vision and Gold City before forming his own group in 2002. * "Womens' Summer Breakaway" – A day of encouragement, laughter and challenge for women offered in identical programs on consecutive days: 9am-3pm Thur. July 22 and Fri. July 23 at Maranatha Bible Conference, 4759 Lake Harbor Rd. Muskegon. Keynote speaker/teacher is Nancy Leigh DeMoss-Wolgemuth, author, radio host and leader of the Revive Our Hearts ministry to women. Christian music artist Sara Groves sings and leads worship time.
