*Becky Harling – The author of "How To Listen so Your Kids Will Talk" is the guest at a virtual author night hosted online by Baker Book House at 7pm Tues. May 4. Harling is a communications expert and a speaker/trainer with the John Maxwell Team. In the book she shares the best listening practices to transform you family's relationships, realizing that good parenting depends on good communication. *Helmsmen Quartet – The area gospel music group performs 7pm Sat. May 29 at the Gospel Music Barn, 6881 64th Ave. Hudsonville. Food is available at 5pm, with the opening act The Compagner Sisters taking the stage at 6pm. The concert begins a summer-long series at the campground venue, which traditionally includes Sunday chapel services and concerts each weekend.
