Hackett Catholic Prep Names New Principal

CapturehackThe Catholic Schools of Greater Kalamazoo and Hackett Catholic Prep have appointed Paul Dull as the high school's next principal, for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Dull joins the Hackett Catholic Prep family with three decades of experience leading schools and serving communities. He holds degrees in Biology, Philosophy and Educational Administration.

After serving as an international lay missionary, Dull dedicated himself to fostering authentic discipleship and academic excellence in schools throughout the United States. In Grand Rapids, he accepted the leadership role at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School, which was subsequently renamed San Juan Diego Academy. Dull and his team led the school to success in many initiatives, including a doubling of enrollment.

Dull also experienced success as the principal of the Potter's House High School. Initiating professional learning communities for the staff, which helped to increase ACT scores and enrollment growth. This eventually led to a successful capital campaign to expand the capacity of the school.
