stress2Simon couldn’t understand how the piles on his desk never seemed to get smaller. The “paper creep,” he liked to call it, because the paper and clutter seemed to creep over his desk. There were files to purge, memos to enter into his database, calls to return, books piled atop each other, a mishmash of paperclips, staples, pens, bolts, hard candies, and magnets scattered throughout his drawers. Added to this scenario was a recent argument with his wife, the car leaking oil, and a game he was to coach that night. For Simon, life was out of control.
