“When we heard Ted was on a book tour, we asked for him to visit because he’s so well loved in the suspense genre,” said Sue Smith, manager of Baker Book House. “We’ll barely be in the store, but we couldn’t pass up having him visit Grand Rapids.”

But no, do you think she would part with her goodies? My eight-year-old daughter became a hyena lurching over a kill, snarling and snapping her teeth at me, protecting the treats she got from a recent church harvest party.
