Does a President's Religion Matter?

abeby Dr. Rex M. Rogers

Abraham Lincoln is near universally considered the greatest president in American history. Many scholars also regard Lincoln as America's greatest "civil theologian.

Etcetera: Prayer for the City

Come and join the prayer for revival of His Church and spiritual awakening in our region for His glory. Meeting now at Crossroads Bible Church, 800 Scribner NW in Grand Rapids, on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 7 pm.

This week Tuesday, the 16th of February, we are doing something a bit different. As usual we will have worship and prayer. But for those of you who are willing, you will accompany the United group of millennials out to listen to God and share with those in need as He leads. The rest of us will stay back and pray for them and, as we customarily do, pray for revival and awakening.

Final Words:

The world today is looking for, and desperately needs, true Christians. I am never tired of saying that what the Church needs to do is not to organize evangelistic campaigns and attract outside people, but to begin herself to live the Christian life. If she did that, men and women would be crowding into our buildings. They would say, "What is the secret of this?"

D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

John 3:16

Our Purpose:

A. Build unity in the body by connecting West Michigan believers

B. Tell the stories of God's people and ministries working quietly in our community

C. Bring glory and honor to our God
