by Paul R. Kopenkoskey

Sow Hope235Mary Dailey Brown's work as a White House staff photographer for Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but she wouldn't trade that job for what she's doing now as co-founder of the international charitable organization, SowHope.

Powerball Is a Ruse

by Dr. Rex M. Rogers

powerballHitting the Powerball jackpot has become our number one American fantasy.  Everyone’s gaga about Powerball’s $1B prize.  Journalists are breathlessly reporting the latest running total, repeatedly sharing person-in-the-street responses to, “What would you do with a billion dollars?”  Sports analysts are getting giddy on air talking about buying tickets.  People who typically don’t gamble in lotteries can’t resist purchasing a few $2 tickets, “just in case.”  Grandparents are acquiring tickets for grandchildren.
