EVENTSWest Michigan Christian News writer Terry DeBoer surveys the landscape for the area's faith-based arts/entertainment/enrichment events over the coming month. Here are three highlights for April:

* Hope College Community Gospel Choir – The ensemble presents its final spring concert at 7pm Sat. April 13 in Dimnent Memorial Chapel, 227 College Ave. on the campus in Holland. The choir features students, alumni and community members. The theme for the celebration is "The Word of God for the People of God" and is under the direction of CJ Kingdom-Grier. On the program are scripture-based songs by gospel artists such as Kirk Franklin, Shirley Caesar, and Karen Clark-Sheard. There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be received. *"Unrelenting" – The modern Easter stage drama is presented April 18-20 at Blythefield Hills Baptist Church, 6727 Kutshill Dr. NE, Rockford. A contemporary family facing modern life issues discovers their connections to events in the Biblical era. The plot presents a message of the unrelenting love of God as expressed in redemption through the cross and the resurrection. Curtain times are 7pm Thurs-Sat, plus a 1pm Sat. matinee. *"Brand New Day" Tour – The collaborative effort featuring national Christian music artists 7eventh Time Down and Jason Day is set for 7pm Sat. April 27 at Community Reformed Church, 10376 Felch St. Zeeland. 7eventh Time Down's latest Christian radio hit is "The 99."Gray's signature song is "Remind Me Who I Am." Also on the bill is the band Cloverton. Advance general admission $10, "skip the line" passes for early entry and choice seating, an additional $10. VIP tickets (includes Q&A with artists) $35.
