Drew and Ellie Holcomb – The Americana/folk-based artists perform at 7pm Mon. Feb. 11 at Wealthy Theatre, 1130 Wealthy St. SE Grand Rapids. Drew is known for his work with their band Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors. Ellie is also a solo artist, winning a 2014 Dove Award as New Artist of the Year on the strength of her solo debut album "As Sure as the Sun." "When Calls The Heart" – The musical stage play, based on the book by Janet Oke, is presented Feb. 14 - March 2 at Master Arts Theater, 75 77th St. SW in Byron Township. The story is from Oke's first book of the Canadian West Series, in which Elizabeth takes a teaching position on the Canadian frontier and endears herself to her students...and a Canadian Mountie! In the lead role is local actress Kaylee Dykema. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with 2 p.m. Saturday matinees. Tickets are $19 adults, $17 seniors and students. Calvin College Gospel Choir – "Praize Night" features the Calvin choral ensemble at 7:30pm Fri. Feb. 15 in the Covenant Fine Arts Center Auditorium on the Calvin campus. The choir performs a mix of gospel, contemporary, spirituals, anthems, jazz and more, with original arrangements as well as "cover" selections. The ensemble is directed by Nate Glasper Jr. and is open to all Calvin students, staff, faculty and alumni.
