Here are three highlights for November:

*Cathedrals Family Reunion: Several former members of the classic Southern gospel group join in honoring the music of the gospel super group The Cathedrals, which retired in 1999. Former Cathedrals singers Ernie Haase, Mark Trammell, Danny Funderburk, Scott Fowler and Gerald Wolfe and their current groups are part of the reunion, which includes songs, "road stories" and a multi-media presentation. Performances are set for 7 p.m. Nov. 6 and 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 7 in Sunshine Community Church, 3300 E. Beltline NE, Grand Rapids. Various ticket price packages available via www.itickets.com or 800-965-9324. Watch a video preview.

*"The Christmas Schooner" – The holiday-themed stage musical opens at 7:30 p.m. Thurs. Nov. 19 and runs through Sat. Dec. 12 at Master Arts Theatre, 75 77th St. SW in Byron Township. The script is based on a true story of a late 19th Century Great Lakes schooner on a trouble-filled journey from Michigan's U.P. to Chicago, delivering Christmas trees to German immigrant families. Musical director Richard Cerchia has an on-stage role. The production is directed by Cathy Van Lopik. Tickets are $18 adults, $16 students and senior citizens. Most Saturdays include at 2 p.m. matinee. For ticket info and purchase visit www.masterarts.org, 616-455-1001.

*Point of Grace and Selah – The inspirational-pop vocal trios perform at 7 p.m. Sat. Nov. 21 in the Frauenthal Center, 425 W Western Ave. Muskegon. Both groups are multiple Dove Award winners and have numerous Christian radio hits. They are combining for this "You Amaze Us" tour sponsored by Compassion International and will perform several songs together. "You Amaze Us" is the title of Selah's most recent CD which includes renditions of several hymns. Point of Grace's latest is "Directions Home."
